The long awaited Olympic Games are finally upon us! The international event, which will host athletes and supporters from 205 different nations will be a spectacle for attendees throughout the UK.

A melting pot of international guests, all in high spirits, will provide an electric atmosphere. Research conducted by Forward Data shows London should anticipate a 13 percent year on year increase in international tourists arriving in late July and early August 1. As international visitors arrive and Brits delay their holidays to make the most of the Olympic atmosphere, experts are anticipating transport issues to arise. This coupled with threats of train and border control strikes makes for a challenge to reach the 4 yearly event.
