Use the cost calculator as a rough guide as to how much fuel contributions from passengers should be.

The recommended price is merely a "recommendation" and should not be taken as the "absolute fairest price" (or lowest limit). The final costs are something to be negotiated, and should be agreed on between the driver and passenger/s before the journey starts.

As a general formula:

Passenger Contribution = Petrol costs + 10% / Number of people in the car
