What advantages do I have with Premium Membership?: Our premium membership is lift sharing in first class: premium members get to exclusively enjoy many extra features across the website. Details can be found in the "Advantages of Premium Membership" page.

Is carpooling.co.uk free?: The basic features of carpooling.co.uk i.e. searching for and offering lifts, and contacting the other party - are free to use. Anyone who would like to use the additional features on our site, can always upgrade to premium membership at any time. Details can be found in our "Advantages of Premium Membership" page.

How does account authentication work?: Premium members can advertise to drivers and passengers how trustworthy they are. By sending us a copy of your passport/drivers license/other official identification, we will authenticate your account to show that you are who you say you are. All document copies and information is handled extremely carefully. Once your account is authenticated a crown symbol will be added to your username - which shows that you are especially trustworthy.

How can I quit premium membership? What notice period is there?: Premium membership can be stopped at any time, with no notice period necessary. Please use the link in "My Account: Membership" or click here.

How can I pay for Premium Membership?: You can currently pay for premium membership with a bank transfer, direct debit, or PayPal.
Paying by credit card is currently only available through PayPal.

How will premium membership be paid for? Monthly, or as a one off fee?: The total amount for the time chosen will be paid for in one amount. Therefore if you purchase a premium membership today, for a period of one year, you will pay the total amount for the year.
